It is used to reduce friction coefficients on the film surface.
They are additives that move towards the surface when they join the polymer. It creates a slippery layer on the surface.
Erucamid and Oleamid are slip types used.
Erucamid moves slowly to the surface and is preferred in films where transparency is important. It should be preferred in printed and laminated films.
Oleamid moves faster to the surface and is preferred in applications where transparency is of little importance. It is economical.
